MDA Space (TSX: MDA) has agreed to acquire SatixFy Space Systems UK Ltd. (“SSS”), a division of Satixfy Communications Ltd. (NYSEAMERICAN: SATX) and provider of digital satellite communications payloads and subsystems including digital beam-forming antennas and onboard processors enabling next-generation on-board satellite capabilities for military and civilian applications primarily in Low Earth Orbit (“LEO”). The transaction is valued at $40 million.
Oneida Molded Plastics (“OMP”), a portfolio company of Cedar Ridge Holding Company, has acquired Phoenix Tool & Molding (“PTM”), a provider of plastic injection molded parts and tooling with tight tolerances, complex geometries, and other critical specifications using engineered resins for aerospace and related industrial applications. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed
Sionyx, a portfolio company of DC Capital Partners, has acquired Amigen (d.b.a. American Imaging Engineering), a provider of thermal sensors for direct view and low-power systems integrated with digital imaging fusion software systems (e.g., clip-on weapon sights, augmented reality, security cameras, industrial and safety pistol grip cameras) enabling color digital and thermal night vision for various military and commercial end users. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
