M&A Transactions

Astronics Corp. (NASDAQ: ATRO) has acquired Bühler Motor Aviation GmbH, a subsidiary of Bühler Motor Group and provider of aircraft seat actuation systems with a broad product portfolio that includes actuators, electronics, control panels, pneumatic systems, and lighting within aerospace markets. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

DC Capital Partners has acquired Aeronautical & General Instruments Limited, a subsidiary of Trident Maritime Systems, a portfolio company of J.F. Lehman & Company, and provider of proprietary, highly engineered opto-electronic and electro-mechanical systems supporting landing, navigation, communications, and other mission-critical naval applications. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed. KippsDeSanto & Co. acted as financial advisor for Aeronautical & General Instruments Limited.

Excelitas Technologies, a portfolio company of AEA Investors LP, has agreed to acquire Luxium Solutions, LLC, a portfolio company of Edgewater Capital Management, LLC and SK Capital Partners, LP, and provider of single crystal scintillation materials for radiation detection applications, as well as sapphire and garnet substrates for high precision optics and power electronics, within commercial aerospace and defense markets. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Forterra has acquired goTenna, Inc., a provider of interoperable, lightweight, mesh networking devices intended to facilitate off-grid connectivity within defense, law enforcement, and public safety markets. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Proponent has acquired Avioparts Sl, a portfolio company of ProA Capital de Inversiones SGEIC, S.A. and provider of aircraft tires, lubricants, and chemicals specializing in logistics, procurement, and supply chain optimization within aerospace markets. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Sigma Defense Systems, LLC, a portfolio company of Sagewind Capital, LLC, has acquired Aries Defense LLC, a provider of advanced communications, tactical-edge data, and mission-enabling solutions, specializing in tactical video and sensor integration within defense markets. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
