Empower AI, Inc., a portfolio company of KKR, has acquired Highlight Technologies, Inc., a provider of DevSecOps, cloud, AI/ML, and data management solutions for U.S. defense and national security markets. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems, a subsidiary of Lockheed Martin Corp. (NYSE: LMT), has agreed to acquire Ultra Maritime, a subsidiary of Ultra Electronics Holdings Ltd., a portfolio company of Advent International Corp. and provider of mission-critical systems including sonar technologies, sonobuoys, torpedo defense systems, radar solutions, and autonomous maritime sensing platforms advanced undersea warfare and anti-submarine warfare ("ASW") capabilities for private sector, international, and U.S. federal government defense and maritime markets. The transaction is valued at $3.45 billion.
Ondas Holdings, Inc. (NASDAQ: ONDS) has agreed to acquire DZYNE Technologies, LLC, a portfolio company of Highlander Partners, L.P. and provider of autonomous aerial systems and advanced defense technologies, intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance and counter-UAS mission solutions within defense markets. The transaction is valued at $875 million.
Precinmac, LP, a portfolio company of Centerbridge Partners, LP, has acquired Advance Mfg. Co., Inc., a provider of precision machining, welding fabrication, and assembly solutions for private sector and U.S. federal government aerospace and defense markets. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Sentry Aerospares Limited, a portfolio company of Acorn Capital Management, LLC, has acquired Airstart, Inc., a provider of rotable aircraft components and immediate inventory support for private sector and Canadian government aerospace markets. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
