Harmonia Holdings Group, LLC, a portfolio company of Madison Dearborn Partners, has acquired Maveris, LLC, a provider of innovative, high-end cybersecurity solutions to the U.S. Federal Government across an impressive portfolio of prime contracts, with considerable depth at the Department of Veterans Affairs. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed. KippsDeSanto & Co. acted as financial advisor for Maveris, LLC.
Serco, Inc., a subsidiary of Serco Group plc (LSE: SRP), has agreed to acquire the Mission Training and Satellite Ground Network Communications Software Business of Northrop Grumman Corp. (NYSE: NOC), a provider of advanced mission training services and software for connectivity and network interoperability between unique simulator platforms. The transaction is valued at $327 million.
SPX Corp. (NYSE: SPXC) has acquired Kranze Technology Solutions, Inc., a provider of advanced Digital Interoperability (“DI”) and tactical networking solutions which integrate and distribute real-time information across multiple communications domains and platforms to enhance situational awareness, coordination, and tactical execution during operations. The transaction is valued at $350 million. KippsDeSanto & Co. acted as financial advisor for Kranze Technology Solutions, Inc.
Thoma Bravo, LLC has acquired Opexus, LLC, a portfolio company of Gemspring Capital and provider of cloud-based, adaptive case management platforms and solutions for government and commercial markets. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
