AEVEX Corp. (NYSE: AVEX), a portfolio company of Madison Dearborn Partners, LLC, has agreed to acquire Black Sea Technologies, LLC, a portfolio company of Razor's Edge Management and provider of unmanned surface and subsea vessels for the defense market. The transaction is valued up to $650 million.
Archer Aviation, Inc. (NYSE: ACHR) has agreed to acquire Wisk Aero, LLC, SkyGrid, and Insitu, Inc., subsidiaries of Boeing Co (NYSE: BA). Wisk provides autonomous eVTOL air taxi systems, SkyGrid provides air traffic management solutions, and Insitu provides integrated intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (“ISR”) solutions for defense, government, and other commercial markets. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Interconnect Solutions Company, LLC, a portfolio company of Cogenuity Partners, has agreed to acquire Aero Electronics Systems, Inc., a provider of cable assemblies, wire harnesses, and braided and molded cables for aerospace, defense, government, and other commercial markets. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Joby Aviation, Inc. (NYSE: JOBY) has agreed to acquire Resonant Sciences, LLC, a portfolio company of Cerberus Capital Management, L.P. and provider of payload and survivability solutions such as radomes, antenna design and fabrication, custom electronic solutions/mission systems, RF/EO/IR modeling, and measurements of materials, antennas, radomes, subsystems, and vehicles for aerospace and defense markets. The transaction is valued at $500 million.
Marlink SAS, a portfolio company of Providence Equity Partners, has agreed to acquire Global Radiodata Communications Ltd., a provider of satellite, cellular, cloud, and IP networking technologies for defense, government, and other commercial markets. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Precise Systems, Inc., a portfolio company of Bluestone Investment Partners, has acquired Ternion Corporation, a provider of advanced modeling and simulation software used to develop composable constructive and virtual simulations and enable interfaces across live, virtual, and constructive environments across U.S. federal defense and training markets. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
