KippsDesanto & Co. is pleased to share its 2022 annual survey of mergers and acquisitions (M&A) activity and sentiment in the Aerospace/Defense and Government Services sectors. Over 200 key dealmakers from relevant sectors shared their predictions about M&A deal activity and valuations.
In our fifth survey of M&A activity and sentiment, we find dealmakers remain very optimistic about the U.S. economy, M&A volume, and valuations for 2022. Respondents are optimistic about overall economic growth, with over 85% expecting the U.S. economy to grow in the coming year. The number of deals in 2021 increased significantly, compared to 2020, substantially accelerating a trend of increased activity over the past several years.
