Prior to founding KippsDeSanto & Co., Mr. Kipps was a Managing Director in Houlihan Lokey’s Washington, DC office and a leader of Houlihan Lokey’s Aerospace∙Defense∙Government industry investment banking group. Mr. Kipps was also with Peterson Consulting and Tucker Alan where he advised aerospace/defense, engineering, construction and information technology companies.

Mr. Kipps was recognized in 2007 as the Dealmaker of the Year – Investment Banker by the Association for Corporate Growth’s National Capital Chapter. He is on the Board of Directors of the National Capital Chapter of the Association for Corporate Growth as well as several other organizations/firms and a member of the Advisory Board for the McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia. Mr. Kipps is a frequent speaker on mergers and acquisitions involving aerospace/defense and IT firms and is often quoted in publications including The Washington Post, USA Today, Washington Technology, Buyouts and The Washington Times among others.

Prior to founding KippsDeSanto & Co., Mr. DeSanto was a Senior Vice President in Houlihan Lokey’s Washington, DC office and a member of Houlihan Lokey’s Aerospace·Defense·Government industry investment banking group.

Mr. DeSanto was recognized in 2011 on Washington Business Journal’s “40 Under 40” list of outstanding regional business leaders and as the Dealmaker of the Year – Investment Banker by the Association for Corporate Growth’s National Capital Chapter. He has deep experience advising shareholders, boards of directors and management teams of over 100 companies in connection with strategic alternatives assessments, acquisitions, sales and divestitures, going-private transactions, raising of private debt and equity financing, fairness opinions, solvency opinions and general corporate planning. Prior to joining KippsDeSanto & Co., Mr. Misantone was the M&A group at Wachovia Securities, where he focused on advisory transactions for companies in the defense, aerospace, and technical services industries. Previously, Mr. Misantone was a Vice President with Jefferies Quarterdeck, focusing on M&A advisory and corporate finance transactions for companies in the aerospace, defense, and government services industries. Prior to joining Jefferies Quarterdeck, Mr. Misantone was an Associate in the M&A group at Credit Suisse First Boston, where he worked on a variety of buy- and sell-side advisory assignments with aerospace and defense and industrial companies. Mr. Misantone started his investment banking career as an Analyst in the Debt Capital Markets group at Goldman, Sachs & Co.

Mr. Misantone was an Echols Scholar at the University of Virginia, where he received a BA degree in Economics and Spanish, Phi Beta Kappa. He also earned an MBA degree with a concentration in Finance from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. He also served in the Pentagon on the staff of the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, working on classified intelligence assessments and transformation efforts, and he served on the U.S. Army Staff, working on equipment modernization and weapons testing.

Prior to joining KippsDeSanto & Co., Mr. Fancher spent thirteen years with Merrill Lynch. While at Merrill Lynch, Mr. Fancher specialized in providing commercial banking services to middle market companies. Mr. Fancher also served as Vice Chairman of the Business Financial Services Advisory Council. Additionally, he has spoken to over 100 Merrill Lynch offices and regional training sessions across the United States. Mr. Fancher has been featured as the cover story of On Wall Street Magazine, as well as being featured in numerous internal Merrill Lynch publications recognizing his pioneering efforts in providing financial services to middle market companies.

Mr. Fancher was co-founder and CEO of Neighborhood Area Networks, LLC, a start-up company that developed a distributed computing architecture solution for the home security industry. Mr. Fancher also served as a Vice President at Matrix Capital Markets Group, a leading middle market investment bank focused on providing merger and acquisition advisory services for corporate and privately-held companies.

Mr. Fancher is the founder of the Virginia Tech Intelligence and Defense Executive Alumni, (VT-idea) and a member of the Virginia Tech Business Partnership. Mr. Fancher holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University – Pamplin College of Business. Prior to joining KippsDeSanto & Co., Ms. Kecmer spent eight years with the Raytheon Company. While at Raytheon, Ms. Kecmer was a member of the Washington, DC based Corporate Strategy operation. In this role, she served as a liaison among Raytheon senior executives, Business Units, the United States Government, investment banks, key members of the scientific customer set, and Raytheon’s Strategic Advisory Board. She led the enterprise-wide strategy for Information Operations/Information Assurance, including the stand-up of this new business area. Raytheon closed on acquisitions, such as SI Government and Telemus, during this time frame, to bridge technology gaps. Ms. Kecmer also led the enterprise-wide strategy for Federal Information Technology, including Raytheon’s formation of this business area. Most recently, Ms. Kecmer was involved with the formation of the cyber training business within Raytheon’s Technical Services Company.

Prior to joining Raytheon, Ms. Kecmer was an Assistant Vice President within the Merrill Lynch Equity Research Department, based in New York City. As a member of the Aerospace and Defense research team, Ms. Kecmer was responsible for lead coverage of mid-sized commercial Aerospace and Defense firms and assisted coverage on larger firms.

Ms. Kecmer graduated from Lafayette College (B.A. International Affairs) and has an M.B.A. from Columbia University.

Mr. Crowell is nationally renowned for his IT, Security and Intelligence Systems leadership and has more than 30 years of experience in both the federal government and private sector. He has held various senior positions within the National Security Agency, including Deputy Director of the Agency and Deputy Director of Operations. He also served as President and CEO of Cylink Corporation from 1998 to 2003, and currently holds various leadership, director and advisory positions for a host of public and private companies as well as U.S. Government Agencies. Among other notable business publications, including the Wall Street Journal, BusinessWeek, and USA Today to name a few, Mr. Crowell co-authored the book, “Physical and Logical Security Convergence” in 2007. Mr. Crowell holds a B.A. degree in Political Science from Louisiana State University.

After a thirty-five year career in the Central Intelligence Agency, Mr. Wade retired in 2005 as Chief Information Officer, a position he held for four years. During his years at the CIA, Mr. Wade also served as the Chief Information Officer for the United States Intelligence Community. Additionally, he held a series of senior positions, including Director of Security and Director of Communications at the CIA. Mr. Wade remains active in the technology community as a director or advisory board member for several technology companies. Mr. Wade graduated from Virginia Polytechnic Institute in Blacksburg, Virginia where he received a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering. Mr. Wade received his Masters degree in Electrical Engineering from the George Washington University in Washington, D.C.
